Grenelle Cemetery: A Place of Little Renown

After leaving the Vaugirard Cemetery earlier today, I decided to head to Grenelle Cemetery. This is the smallest cemetery I’ve visited in Paris. I LOVED it!

During my visit, I continued to investigate cemetery symbolism, damage, and care. The odd sounds I experienced in the Vaugirard Cemetery continued in Grenelle. This time, a large creature was traveling through the bushes during my video. In fact, this whole cemetery was surrounded by various sounds from children playing to construction to odd horns in the distance.

I did some brief research about the cemetery which you can view below.

I also recorded a walkthrough of the cemetery. During the video, I pose a lot of questions. If you can answer any of them, please comment here or on my facebook page @APlaceForKP. Thanks!

As a reminder, I’m exploring these cemeteries to learn about French cemetery care and preservation practices. My focus is not necessarily about the well-known or famous individuals buried in these cemeteries. If you wish to share information about people buried at the cemeteries, please do so in the comments here or my facebook page so that others can benefit from your knowledge. Thanks for reading and for watching!
