Paris: Week Three, Day Three

Tuesday, July 11

Today was much like yesterday. My focus is really on my French studies now. Each day, I record my three-hour French class. After class, I listen to the recording of the class on repeat. At home, I review notes, new words, new grammar, and whatever else I need to know. I use AI to type in words from class and have an AI read them to me in French. This allows me to hear words pronounced with the correct accent and at the correct speed. It’s much more efficient than listening to myself stumble over words and say things incorrectly. Yay for AI.

After class, I went on the hunt for food. I found another place not far from my school.

Their portions were out of control. It was way too much food. The smoked salmon was so salty that I couldn’t finish it. I was hungry but the salt was making me nauseous. They either need to cut back on the salty cheese sauce or use less salt on their salmon. Then, I got a tiramisu. I’m not sure about their recipe. It must be a homemade kind of thing. It was good. It was just extremely sweet and way too much cake! Why did they give me such large portions? I felt bad wasting so much food.

After that, it was back home to study.
