Paris: Week Three, Day Four

Wednesday, July 12

Today was a repeat of Monday and Tuesday. There isn’t much happening in my life right now. I’m noticing police everywhere on the metro stations. Maybe tensions are rising as we near the holiday. I heard rumors that the police might be expecting some riots or something. Whatever the case may be, it makes me uncomfortable to see them everywhere.

After class, I visited the store and then went home to study. The store had some unusual things.

In the evening, I met the AIFS crew to visit L'Atelier des Lumières. Last year, I enjoyed this immersive art experience so much. I learned that they change the artist each year. So, this year I got to see art from Chagall. I hope that one day I can visit this exhibit in New York. They are supposed to show the same artists that Paris does. It would certainly be a cheaper trip than flying all the way to France!
